CHRISTOPHER K. BOWEN is the general counsel and chief administrative officer of the Exchange. His responsibilities at the Exchange include overseeing the legal, human resources, membership, and corporate governance departments.
He has also worked at the Exchange as senior vice president and general counsel and associate general counsel. Other positions he has held include counsel and manager of futures compliance at Morgan Stanley & Co., attorney and advisor at the CFTC division of trading and markets, and judicial law clerk for judge Joseph H. Kaplan, in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City.
He is a graduate of Columbia University and the University of Maryland Law School.
Mr. Bowen has served on numerous industry and civic committees and currently serves and as a member of the executive committee of the Futures Industry Association Law and Compliance Division and the Committee on Futures Regulation of the New York City Bar Association. |
