With the implementation of NYMEX ClearPort® TMS in 2005, eClerks, authorized
by the executing broker, have the capability to reallocate electronic trades
appearing in NYMEX ClearPort® TMS throughout the business day. This functionality
is now being expanded to include Clearing Member authorized personnel who are
also authorized by the executing broker to perform eClerk functions.
This expanded functionality will allow your staff to perform reallocations
of NYMEX and COMEX products on CME Globex® and NYMEX ClearPort® Trading trades throughout the
business day, thus removing the 12:00 noon time restriction that is currently
in place.
In order to be granted the expanded functionality, each person designated as
an authorized individual must also receive authorization from each executing
broker for whom your firm may perform reallocations from time to time. The eClerk
and Broker registration forms below should be completed and returned to NYMEX.
The NYMEX ClearPort® Trade Management
System eClerk Registration Form should be completed by the Operations Manager
and returned to NYMEX as indicated below.
The NYMEX ClearPort® TMS BROKER
Registration Form for eClerks should be provided to and completed by the
executing broker. The form should be returned by the executing broker as indicated
below.
Clearing Member Operations Managers must complete the NYMEX
ClearPort® TMS eClerk Registration Form and fax it to Customer
Service at 212-301-4751. The Operations Manager will act as a Verification Officer
for the users of his/her firm. The Operations Manager must contact Customer
Service via e-mail at custcare@nymex.com
to alert the Exchange when users of his/her firm are no longer employed with
the firm.
Executing Brokers must complete the NYMEX ClearPort® TMS
Broker Registration Form for eClerks, have Floor Corrections witness
the signature, and submit it to them on the NYMEX Division Trading Floor.
